Community Events

Here at Pure Fitness health clubs we believe in the Sprit of Giving. Our motto is "Give until it hurts and then give some more." Not only do we believe in giving to you, our gym members, but to our community as well. Our relationship with the Phoenix metro community is especially important to us, and we support many charities, fund-raisers and events throughout the year. We have seen our lives blessed by the spirit of prosperity and understand the importance of giving, helping and living life with a purpose beyond ourselves.

Pure Fitness and Phoenix First Assembly Partner to Serve Community
Phoenix, AZ – In a stunning example of what can happen when corporate citizenship joins forces with the outreach of the community of faith, Pure Fitness Clubs and Phoenix First Assembly of God church have proven that a healthy community is healthy physically, mentally and spiritually. A series of cooperative efforts has increased momentum to where the two entities together accomplish more than either could do alone. The 2007 Food drive brought in more than 250,000 non-pershable food items. The train of food carts kept rolling in and it turned into a mountain.

Pure Fitness and Phoenix First Assembly Partner to Serve Community: Pure Fitness Gym at the LA Dream Center
The Dream Center is a non-profit outreach dedicated to helping inner-cities. The Dream Center strives to help solve moral decay, crime, drug, gang, homelessness and poverty epidemics that exist in the inner-cities. The Dream Center reaches thousands of hurting and needy children, families and adults across all races and cultures each week. In 2005, Pure Fitness built a 10,000 sq. ft. health club for the Dream Center including free weights, circuit training, treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent bikes and lifecycles. Pure Fitness donated all the gym equipment, parts and labor for this project. This gym gives Dream Center residents and staff the opportunity to stay healthy and enjoy a great facility with the latest equipment, all at no price to them. Being healthy promotes a positive attitude, both physically and spiritually and we know that if you feel good about yourself, you reflect that positive attitude with others.

“It’s so wonderful to see a company concerned that the dignity of the individual is lifted up by providing such great facilities to inner city populations,” said Matthew Barnett, who co-pastors the Los Angeles work with his father who pastors the Phoenix mega church.
