  • CardioSplash
    This class provides 30-40 minutes of vigorous cardio for fat burning and endurance while focusing on all major muscle groups. 10-20 minutes toning targeting either upper body or lower body muscles in order to provide total body conditioning. Concluding with a relaxing 5 min stretch.

  • Cycling
    Cycling (endurance, interval and strength ride) is a group exercise class that utilizes special stationery bikes to give the rider a more realistic feel of an outdoor bicycle. Classes are led by an instructor who guides the participants on a "ride." Each participant can customize their "ride" to fit their individual needs and fitness level, since each rider is in control of the intensity level of his/her particular bike. The Pure Fitness Cycling program brings the elements of athletic training to people of all ages and fitness levels and is NOT just a "hard-core" fitness program for elite athletes. Instead, this efficient, high-energy group exercise integrates music, camaraderie and visualization in a complete mind/body exercise routine. There are three specific formats so the advanced rider can customize his/her program for a more specific training schedule. Participants use specially designed Bikes customized to fit your specific body type. Our cycling classes offer cycles with dual pedals for both athletic shoes and SPD-compatible cycling shoes.

  • Fitness Challenge
    A high-intensity class created especially for the 60 Pure Fitness members who committed to their Pure Fitness trainers and to themselves for three months. They will transform their bodies and their lives! View their “before” pictures that line the walls in the club. General members also are welcome to this class.

    Yoga weaves fitness, wellness and a deep sense of consciousness together. Utilizing weight-bearing exercise with the body's own weight as the resistance, you will stretch, strengthen and tone your muscles. You will learn to control your breath and center your mind. Fitness yoga incorporates athletic moves and stress relief techniques.

    A class to condition teenaged youth for competitive football.   • Hi - Low Impact Aerobics
    Is suitable for all fitness levels, a low to medium intensity 55 minute class, is comprised of movements involving large muscle groups used in continuous rhythmic activity in which at least one foot contacts the floor at all times. It has evolved to decrease the lower leg overuse injuries associated with high-impact classes. This type of exercise is ideal for special populations such as seniors, pregnant women and overweight people. It is an excellent way to begin an exercise program for those who have not exercised for some time and who want to ease into a program.

  • Mix It up
    A mid tempo cardiovascular workout that incorporates several easy to follow routines of HI/LO, Kickboxing, Salsa, Hip Hop, or Step moves. The class will finish with a cool down and a stretch. If you can ride a bike or treadmill for 25 minutes you can mix it up.

  • Pilates
    Watch a Pilates (pronounced puh-LAH-teez) workout for the first time and you’ll probably describe it as a cross between, yoga, stretching and calisthenics. It leaves participants with a feeling of physical and mental well-being. In Tennis magazine, stars Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova are drawn to the non-impact, non-weight bearing exercise developing strength and flexibility without building bulky muscles. Instead, muscles look long and lean. In general, exercises are performed either on machines or on a padded mat on the floor. Using gravity and the body’s own resistance, they can also be done using various handholds, supports, bands, tubing and bars allowing the body to stretch farther and into different positions.

    Pure Fitness has developed a sensational step class that incorporates intermediate step choreography with intervals of wind sprints, plyometric exercises and hand weight segments. This class is perfect for everyone ranging from athletic individuals to seasoned steppers. Modifications are shown for people who desire less intensity and proper form is always emphasized by the instructor. Each class follows the cardio/weight portion with crunches and proper cool-down.

  • Yoga
    Yoga, from the Sanskrit word meaning union, is a 5,000-year-old Eastern philosophy, which incorporates the mind and body in a mutually supportive relationship. Westerners are most familiar with its fitness components but may not realize yoga weaves fitness, wellness and a deep sense of consciousness together. Enthusiasts practice various yoga traditions, all of which combine forms of breathing, posture and exercise. The physical exercises are called asanas (postures). These are isometric moves, which stretch and tone muscles. Similar to weight lifting, yoga strengthens muscles by incorporating resistant weight-bearing exercise using the body's own weight as the resistance. While all yoga traditions employ variations of the asanas, each type offers different fitness benefits and wellness goals. Level 1 is for beginners or those new to Yoga levels 2 and 3 are intermediate and advanced format classes.
